ABOUT ME

Denis has enough years in morning radio that the bags under his eyes are made by Samsonite. Perhaps now that he has landed in afternoons, the rest will do him good. Hey, it can't hurt. He has been (maybe we shouldn't use the words has and been back to back)...He has lived in places like San Diego, Denver, Kansas City and most recently Nashville before making Grand Rapids home in 2006. Denis, his wife Kerry and daughter Kady reside in Jenison. Kerry is a therapist and likes to play "Analyze This" The Home Game with Denis. Kady is starting second grade and loves soccer, piano, drawing and Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers/Aly & A.J./Zack and Cody (you get it), but not always in that order. Denis also is a monologue writer for the Late Show with David Letterman and as an environmentalist enjoys returning golf balls to ponds and woods where we guess he thinks they are better off than in held in captivity in his golf bag. Not like they are there LONG. His handicap? Can't putt. Join in the fun with me weekday afternoons and maybe we'll yell "Fore" at one another someday.

Right here, but for free after winning the lottery. Or Hawaii. Honestly, it's the wife's call.

What do you currently have in your CD player in your car?
The Kingston Trio, Big and Rich, some Radio Disney CD. I am many people.

Beach or Mountains or Golf?
Golfing at the beach after a day golfing in the mountains.

Biggest accomplishments?
My beautiful daughter Kady. Finding a great "radio" wife like Kerry who puts up with me and this odd forsaken career choice.

Writing for Jay Leno and David Letterman for the past 16 years.

Favorite foods?
Anything that doesn’t start with Broc or end in Bran.

What would you be doing if you weren't in radio?
Writing the Great American novel, working for the Weather Channel, or Head beer taster at New Holland Brewery. (please direct opportunities to...)
